Video Pacific Crest Trail – Section Campo to Acton

Last April, I hiked 444.2 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. I made a video of my 33 days on the trail and take you with me from Campo to Acton.

What did I do

Between the 5th of April and the 8th of May, I hiked 444.2 miles (715 kilometers) of the Pacific Crest Trail in California. I started at mile 0 at the Mexican Border (near Campo) and arrived in Acton 33 days later. The first couple of days I was scared all the time, I thought I would see a snake or a mountain lion every mile. But luckily that changed, and at some point, the only thing I could think about was my backpack (that was a little too heavy), where I would sleep that night en what kind of food I would eat at the next village (mostly hamburgers). I met a lot of amazing people, and will never forget this experience. During the trail I wrote a journal, which you will able to read on this website. Unfortunately, for now, it’s only available in Dutch, but I will translate them to English in the future.

In the coming months, I will definitely write more blog posts about the Pacific Crest Trail. Would you like to get updates? Follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
