Tips for a trip to Switzerland

Are you curious and would you travel to Switzerland and visit one (or more) places on this list of the most beautiful places in Switzerland? Switzerland is very centrally located in Europe.

Travel to Switzerland by car

Switzerland is easily accessible by car from most countries in Europe. For example, from the Netherlands, you can easily drive to Switzerland in a day. Please note that for driving on the Swiss motorways you need a special toll sticker.

Travel to Switzerland by plane

Travel to Switzerland by plane Switzerland has a couple of international airports, like Zurich, Basel, and Geneva. The cheapest plane tickets can be found through Skyscanner.

In Switzerland, it’s very easy to travel by train. You can buy tickets at any station, but it can also be smart to buy a special Swiss Rail Pass.

Would you still like the flexibility of a car during your trip in Switzerland? You can rent a car in any (large) city. Making a reservation in advance is usually the cheapest way to rent a car in Europe. My favorite websites are AutoEurope and Sunny Cars. A toll sticker is almost always included with a rental car.

In my opinion, these are the most beautiful places in Switzerland! Have you ever been to Switzerland? If so, what did you think of Switzerland?
